To help State employees understand how this process applies to them, MSRP has designed this comprehensive seminar, which covers insurance, investing, taxes, retirement planning, college planning and estate planning. One-on-One Counseling: Let's talk about YOU and YOUR account.
MSRP field representatives are available to meet for One-On-One Counseling with all employees enrolled in the plan or those considering enrollment. The purpose of the sessions is to provide information on the plans. Counselors will not provide investment advice or recommendations. The individual counseling sessions will cover how asset allocation and diversification are typically used to reduce risk. We will try to answer any questions you have about the plans and we will also provide you with enrollment materials. To make a 30-minute appointment, please contact Janet Wilt at MSRP at 410-767-8742.

Pre-Retirement Seminar
The seminar covers the three supplemental retirement plans. It highlights the choices upon retirement, three provisions: hardship, loan and catch-up, and distribution options. The length of the seminar is approximately one hour.   It's generally offered as part of the State Retirement Agency's full-day pre-retirement seminar, but also is offered as a stand-alone session.

Information Booth: Got a quick question about your plan? This is a great opportunity for employees to ask individual questions concerning their plans. A field representative sets up a table in the agency and provides information on the plans. This is a helpful option when a specific time commitment may be challenging. (Employees looking for a private, confidential discussion should schedule a One-on-One appointment)
